Why not use a palm III or other PDA to program the 817. Better yet,
it could be a multimode terminal for packet, PSK32 or RTTY. Might
even be used for APERS. It would be small and usful in a field
environment. I just purchaced the FTbasic software. Perhaps there is
a way to include a subroutine for a Palm hotsync. Just brain
storming.
