Just some info...
Purchased a new FT 817 @ Dayton this year. I found extremely low Tx
power & Tx audio only in the USB & LSB modes (all bands & both front
and rear antenna). Checked SWR, changed from internal battery to
external 12v, changed various power levels.....no difference.
Did a reset, everything is OK now. hmmmmm
