I know from all of my pro audio gear that one of the bigest problems with DSP gear is latency.
125ms delay is very,very poor.
The goal of most DSP makers is to have it under 10ms. The best is 2 to 5 ms.
Much over 10ms you will feel the delay. Some cheaper music gear comes in at 50ms.
Each ms of delay equals one foot of distance between you and the speaker.
At 125ms you are sending with your speaker 125 feet away from you.
I am sure they were hoping no one would ever hear their unit in real time, like pass a sidetone thru it!
They need to go back and take another look.
