Well, you have just rubbished the advice given by manufacturers like
Cushcraft, HyGain and others for erecting their verticals, not to
mention vertical wires, end fed wires and others read in books. It is
no good my trying to understand the technical explanations for these
things, it is all way over my head. I just tend to follow the advice
I have seen constantly repeated, and find it hard to accept when
someone tells me that was all wrong...
