Lighten up ... there is some wrong on both sides ... but the better way
to have gone about it would have been to wait until a day or two had
gone by and then gently reminded the forum as a whole or the offending
individual specifically by back channel that it was an Yayhoo FT817
Forum. NOBODY likes a List Nazi, particularly a self-appointed one. We
drove one off QRP-L not all that long ago, and he was the the official
List Manager.
I should not have to remind you that you have no more rights here than
the author of the comments about the Kenwood radio. I also should not
need to point out that some discussion of a similar radio (small,
compact, capable of wide range of receive) can help understand the FT817
even better.
So ... chill ... adjust your prozac and enjoy your 817!

Maybe you should watch your language...If we wanted Kenwood radios we
would have bought them, thus if I wanted to know about Kenwood radios
I would join their user group.
I don't have to think about this...If I join a FT-817 users group
then that is what I and I am sure others are primarily interested
in. If you are going to post like this why don't you change the name
and description of the group...If you notice in the upper left hand
side of this page it doesn't say anything about KENWOOD, but YAESU
specifically.
