There, now that this is in the archives we don't have to worry about it
anymore and all the new list members will see it and know that it's
unhealthy to mod your radio and I'm sure we'll never see another such
post. ;)

I like the way this group is going. If the radio is even half as good, we'll
be all right. BTW, I'd like the power upped to around 100 watts, then I
could sell my FT-100 ...
Talking of which, is the '817 using up all the old FT-100 case top covers
(see photos) which were left over when the FT-100D was introduced?
