Re: Advice on selling

I've got an FT-897 in a similar situation (full of filters, sitting idle), and my opinion is that while the filters have value outside the radio, and by selling them separately you may maximize your profit, but once the filters sell, you will possibly (probably?) have a hard time selling the FT-817nd w/o filters, as the potential buyer will most likely want the filters.

In other words, as a package the radio/filters may sell faster, but at a discount to selling them individually, which will likely take longer.

Good luck,

I plan to sell my FT-817ND in the near future as I'm not using it enough to justify keeping it.

It has all the original accessories including the YF-122C and YF-122S Collins mechanical filters. I can't decide whether to include the filters in the sale or sell them separately.

Any advice please?
