Using the usb-c pd output it maintains a pretty steady 12v through most of its discharge cycle.

I wanted a 5 amp rated 12V cable so use this?

I actually butchered it to put an anderson connector on it instead of the 5.5 mm barrel plug. Have an Anderson connector on the back of my 818ND.

Has a torch, charges a phone and solidly built.....actually a pretty good safety device to have in the bush.

Might also try one of these for emergency back up which should be up to the job though smaller capacity.
