I don't believe the group should store copyright-protected content - as I recall, the league is very good about pointing that out when you download an article...
QST articles are not in the public domain, as far as I know.
If the author wants to give you/us a shareable copy of an article they wrote, I believe they have that right...

Unfortunately, ARRL's offering of archival issues of QST can be
somewhat difficult to navigate, but you can get access:
1.? You are correct that the "digital archives" only goes as far
back as 2012, BUT:
2.? Earlier-than-2012 issues (actually, individual articles) are
also available all the way back to 1913 or thereabouts, but via a
different process:
2a.? Start at ARRL home page, login as ARRL member
2b. After login, go back to ARRL home page (if not already there)
and click on "Technology"
2c. Click on "Periodicals archive and search"
2d. Enter various search items into text blocks, e.g., month, or
year, or authors name, etc.? In this case, enter "2002" for the
year, "Feburary" for the month, and "twin-lead dipole" for the
title/keywords, and a new window will pop up providing a link to
the article.
This "search" process can also be used for any year of QST
(including the "digital archives".)? Although the process to
access articles is different for pre-2012 vs. 2012-and-on years.

Ask the ARRL if they have a digital copy. I
know they have them on CD for past publications.

My father gave me this article back in 2002 and
we made a few dipoles.? I'd love to get a copy of
this article, but can't find it anywhere online.?
Would anyone happen to have a copy of this???
I think these dipoles are made from foam twinlead.?
Maybe I am remembering the wrong article.
