Really why would one want a TCXO for the FT817/8, one uses the VFO to tune. And I would not commit my FT817 to any service that needs it, there are much better ways to go.

Also note that the TCXO-9 originally had a TCXO module designed to run from 5V, later TCXO-9s changed this to one intended to run from 3V but 5V tolerant. This has the disadvantage that the compensation is no longer ideal. The old module part number is NTO-801, the new one is TTS01.
I modified my TCXO-9 with a low-noise 3V LDO surface mount regulator with some extra decoupling, it gave better warm-up and long-term stability behaviour.
