My CW setup using the U5 link attachment:
It's handy but if you use it for CW and connect it to the rig you have no place for a key or paddle.?
I tried an audio Y cable and it works great!
Second if you love CW but have lost your magic touch like me, Google the MRP40 code decoder program.
It ain't free, but neither was your radio! It's well worth the $.
The features are almost unlimited.
I think you can do CW without knowing the code.
Please no smart cracks from the CW 'experts', you might lose your touch when you get old like me. But some don't!
