I have just acquired an MPX-50M and I'm wondering what is the best way to power it. My current thinking is to get a 5 cell Lipo at 8mah this outputs about 18.5 v, I will then put this througha buck converter down to 13.8v. The thinking behind this is that when the voltage drops I still have plenty to play with.
Or would it be better just to go with a 4 cell battery?
I'd appreciate your thoughts.
