Hello Bill here N3GTY I use my FT817 from time? to time as an
APRS Fill in Digi for Packet I must use the Microphone input for
FM if not all you will get is a Carrier transmitted
For sound card packet I use MixW software.? I hope this helps 73

meetings. ?When I go to transmit I don't get any audio
out of the radio.

know you need to use the "User-U" mode for digital on
HF, but I'm working with people with baofengs on 2m
fm...
