Drawers for bolts and such #wiring #Workshops

 

I have been using "Dandy Drawers" for many years for nuts and bolts and such for over 25 years.? Super cost heavy and well made plastic drawers where you build a simple carcass to hold them.? I 40 drawers today and need more space.? I went to order more and it seems they are out of business :)

The drawers I am using are about 2" deep and reconfigurable.? I like that I can take the drawer to the bench and then put it back so I would want something that is mobile like that.? I am looking for ideas.? Pics help :)

I've had good luck in the past with companies like Fastenal and Lawson Products as they often give you the bins as a commercial customer for repeat business and restocking.? Here's an example of what I just found at Lawson:


I know I bought a cheap Harbor Freight bin assortment with similar bins for uber cheap and they have worked out great. They self-nest and need no tools to use/assemble/break down.

Like you, I've searched for good drawers but they never seem to work right, so this is where I ended up.?
