Aigner Clamp Strip, wiggle in the handle?

 

I recently received a new Aigner Clamp Strip from Felder and noticed that the lever/handle used to actuate the clamping element has some lateral movement when activating the clamp, and was wondering if this was normal??

I have a Aigner Contermax (lovely jig!!) and was surprised that the Clamp Strip handle seems to have some play in it, since the Contermax is very tight and precise. Any input or experiences would be appreciated.?

This was very helpful. Yeah, when I engage my clamp the handle definitely moves laterally away from the object being clamped, perhaps 3-5mm, I'll measure when I get out to the Shop tomorrow.?
