Felder 40mm cutter profile head
开云体育I’ve received a Felder 40mm profile cutter head as shown in the attached images. ?My 55mm Whitehill profile head uses 55mm knives although the slots holding the cutters are similar dimensions as my Felder 40mm head .? Any reason I should not use 55mm knives in my 40mm Felder head? Thoughts? ???? ? Regards, ? Chris Perren 512-415-6951 ? |
开云体育Chris, as long as holes match up there would be 7.5 overhang ,, no issue at all but I would ask whitall what they think there ?is a rule of thumb, based on knife thickness just don’t remember what it is, Rengate or Schmidt would be better qualified , I am going by my experience only with 60 degree corrugated.Although I do have a few of those heads. Ther is also rule of thumb for knife thickness to knife extension past cutter body. 开云体育Chris, ASAIK, you can use 40mm or 50mm blades/limiters in the larger felder universal safety cutter head. the smaller felder universal safety cutterhead only uses 40mm blades. i assume that only a small portion of the blade can be unsupported. hope this is helpful. imran?
