Stepdown Fitting #dustcollection

My hose is 120 mmn? OD=4.72" almost 4 3/4"
The dust collector is 4" OD

Who has a setp down fitting of this size either rigid or flexible instructure?
Is there a flex one than can be used with hose clamps to tighten the hose to the collector?
How do you predetermine a hose clamp size? Is there a rule of thumb/
Thanks

Seems simple, but haven't found one yet.

I went with a wholesale change to an Oneida system a couple of years ago and, while I do have a ceiling duct for a hose for my hand tools at my assembly table, I added a Festool 48AC vac that sits in the vicinity that I find does a much better job. ?Everything is gated and where not permanently attached, (Bandsaw, oscillating sanders, and jointer all have to be mobile) I share a hose and use this system with some success: ?

I use 5¡± hose on 120mm port. To increase 120mm port OD I wrap a strip of foam (like used to wrap items for shipping). This has worked fine on KF saw port as there is nothing tugging at it to cause any issues.

I am not aware of a rule of thumb for hose clamps. I just make sure that the range is accommodating. BTW, the clamps with a step for hose coil are supposedly best but I have not used them. For std hose clamps the generic are junk and I found ones I ordered from Felder much more robust. I found these similar to what Felder supplied at a lower cost.

Oh! i got those hose clamps from Hose clamp king

Also, I shared my solution for 120mm port in case that is appropriate for you case. If so then you can just use a 4¡± to 5¡± adapter at your DC. That would be much cheaper than oneida option.

I have been using these wire clamps which bridge over the helical wires in the dust collection hose.?
