If you examine the email source of test #1 by looking at the source on the Yahoo web site, you see the a final comment “non-text portions of this message have been removed” and the image is not

Ah, I see what happened – my email program inserted the image as an attachment rather than inline in the source, even though it displayed in-line. It seems it’s dependent upon the email program

By examining the actual email source, I note that there is no attachment in test #1 and there is an attachment in test #2 (which displays in gmail chrome for me as I would expect). Mark

I only see an image place holder icon. NOT the image. Using Windows, Chrome, adblock off, security settings to show all images in Chrome, reading via Yahoo! mail and group page using Chrome.

This posting has one image imbedded and was sent using the Share function within the Photos app on a Mac this time (not the iPhone) with FOG as the target email recipient. Can anyone see this image -

No image. Logged into mail.yahoo.com with Chrome on a PC. If the native Yahoo web mail doesn't show it, I doubt anything else will. For what it's worth, I've had the best luck on my iPhone. I reply in
