Try holding down the RESET button when you apply power to the machine. ?By ¡°apply power¡±, I mean the master disconnect switch, not on/off to the motors. ?

I can access and modify parameters 1-5 but the manual calls for parameter 12 to switch from Metric to inch.
I cannot access 12 in any way. The newer Digi-Drive uses a different parameter to switch inch/metric. It does not work on my unit.
I have contacted Felder USA and we tried everything. No luck.
Felder is waiting for a reply from Austria.
Anyone have the codes to get at 12?
Any help is appreciated.

Re: which water based poly for HVLP?

John,

My understanding of the H/O cup for turbine driven system is because the turbine system operates at low air pressure level (below 10 psi), it cannot collapse the liner like the 3M PPS for compressor driven system, which uses venturi effect ()

For Fuji turbine driven system, viscosity reading must be below 80 seconds using #4 Ford viscosity cup, if not, thinning is required.?

Pressurized cup can be used with compressor driven gun to spray high viscosity material??.

There are 2 H/O pressure cups for PPS 2.0, #26124 and #26121. Mr. Phelps does not have the latest H/O cup pictures on his website, but the description for the new H/O cup in the kit is correct. I think that is what he meant, the picture does not matter.?

I talked with Mr. Phelps earlier this year, and while very knowledgeable about Fuji and PPS in general - he really didn't have a clue about 2.0 and its implementation with H/O moving forward.? My biggest beef was that his website had incorrect artwork/photos for the new 2.0 system.? He seemed unaware there was a difference and then said it didn't really matter, don;t worry about it.

If I need to spray in the tight space, I will use gravity feed gun with the small H/O cup with 6 oz liner. PPS 1.0 has only two liners, 28oz and 6 oz.

?

PPS 2.0 has 5 different liners, still two H/O cups, large or midi, no small size.

Marty,

?

I have Fuji bottom feed and gravity feed guns. Most of the time, I use the bottom feed gun with PPS 28oz liner.

?

If I spray the same paint in a day, I cover the tip with the wet shop towel?and plastic when waiting for the paint?to dry. I always leave the leftover paint in the liner with H/O cup or hard cup (for the compressor driven gun) upside down.

I would suggest to get PPS 2.0 large H/O (28oz) kit first,?yes, buy a T70?gun. For spraying at the tight space, you can get Midi?(13.5oz) H/O kit for your gxpc gun. Anything less than 6oz is meant for repair work.?

Re: which water based poly for HVLP?

David,

When you talked to Mr. Phelps earlier this year, did he have the PPS 2.0 kit on his website??

I would be very surprised that the PPS 2.0 kit he sells now ()?does not work with PPS 2.0 liner and lid., it clearly states the kit has new adaptor and new H/O cup.

You can buy PPS 2.0 for your turbine driven gun from other companies, check the following thread.

Can someone knowledgeable please explain how 2.0 deals with the H/O cups now?? It appears there is still no new dedicated H/O cup with the new lid ??? And , you cannot reliably use the smaller liners in the larger H/O cup ?? I'm still rather perplexed and no one I've run across is versed enough to explain it to a layman.

I talked with Mr. Phelps earlier this year, and while very knowledgeable about Fuji and PPS in general - he really didn't have a clue about 2.0 and its implementation with H/O moving forward.? He gave the party line of "it's great, you need a different adapter for 2.0 for your gun; what do you want to order ? " ? He deflected when asked about specifics or details.?? My biggest beef was that his website had incorrect artwork/photos for the new 2.0 system.? He seemed unaware there was a difference and then said it didn't really matter, don;t worry about it.

In fairness , 2.0 was relatively new and hadn't gotten a lot of market penetration. Even 3M was sketchy with details. ?? But still, the experience put me off purchasing.

Re: which water based poly for HVLP?

Target sells a great waterborne?shellac that seals well and sprays with turbine HVLP machines. It does have some colour (amber) in it but it tends to be neutralized by the bluish cast of most waterborne polyurethanes. Target's sealer is clear, but top coated with most urethanes it tends to leave a blue cast to it particularly in raking light.
I have enough of the old stock 3M PPS system cups etc. so I don't know anything about the the new PPS system. I prefer to use my pressure pot for most projects
I don't spray solvent based coatings, but I do have an up coming?project (front door) to finish with Fine Paints of Europe and I am thinking of buying a compressor based gun for solvents.

Bill when I'm continually spraying for a couple of days and running WB clear coats I leave the product loaded and just top up when needed. Pigmented is a different story sometimes needs flushing after every cup. Clean up with gravity guns is a breeze and I never use bottom feeders too much of a PIA. Also as a note I don't use or believe in turbine guns which a lot of you call HVLP, I know a lot of people swear by them but I'm a compressor only HVLP gun guy.
