The equipment showed up ready to be offloaded from the side. Just let the delivery people know what your intentions are.?
I offloaded the equipment and set it in front of my garage door, ?then pallet jack in.?

Having done this hundreds of time the simplest way usually is to have the machine sent to closest Depot , Contract with a tilt bed car hauler They have a winch in back and the beds raise up in down some to level to docks.and tilt . They are almost always license to move machines.
You pay buy the hour and they are on call so you just pre arrange and call when needed.
They pick machine or machines up at terminal Bring to your place hook the winch on and Tilt bed lower the machine On to the ground. Bingo. ? Done ?cost of a lift gate delivery usually.

You will have 2 pallets, one for the main unit and one for the slider. The slider box is quite long as you can guess.

Does the KF700SP pallet allow end- loading, or just siding loading??

Does this trailer seem suitable for a trip through town (Minneapolis)???

Re: Moving Felder Equipment

Great input guys!?

I'll definitely look into the forklift option. I'm fortunate to live in a metropolitan area, and other than a ~1" lip from the street to my driveway, it's a straight, flat shot into my Shop. I need to rent a mini excavator next weekend anyways (need to trench for a larger electrical conduit to feed power to my Shop), I'll use that opportunity to inquire about a forklift....?

Re: Moving Felder Equipment

Renting a forklift would be easier.? They bring the forklift to you.? No going to pick up a trailer...then going to pick up the saw...driving home...taking the trailer back.? Forklift rental may not be too much more than the trailer.

My new to me Cadillac 3300 pound metal lathe was brought to my shop and easily off loaded with the boom lift all the way down the sloped driveway to the shop door, about 30 feet from the truck.? He used the remote control to guide the load onto three skates then rolled it into place in the shop.? One of the best investments I have made and this was not in any way a job for armatures.? The work was done by Challenger Lifting of Bow, WA for a very reasonable cost.

Scoring Blade for Sale #forsale

I have a Felder KF700 and some time ago I purchased a scoring blade.? I went to use it for the first time this week and much to my chagrin, it doesn't fit my saw.? I purchase the 80mm adjustable scoring saw blade item# 03.09.08020, (.? The reason it does not work on my saw is even when raised to it's maximum extent, it does not clear the surface of the table.? Upon further investigation, I should have bought the 100mm blade - which I will do this week.

This is a "new" scoring blade never been used c/w all shims and it lists on the Felder site for $135.? I paid $115.? ?I will cover shipping in the US since it can be shipped in a small padded envelope.? Best offer over the next few days takes it since it's of absolutely no use to me.

Thanks,
Rob.
