Re: A clean, tidy and organised workspace is so inspiring #Workshops
Thanks for the mention David, I do try to keep it clean when I can but last time I cleaned the workshop was 2-3 years ago... fully agree a clean shop is more enjoyable and safe.

Re: K700S Power-Drive wont tilt
The positioning system has probably convinced itself a fault condition exists, or the power supply to the servo motor has a blown fuse. I had this issue with my Kappa 400 (same tilt controls as your

Re: slab door warpage
As a furniture and cabinet maker, I too have been tempted at times to try BBirch for slab doors.? I've resisted the temptation, as experience has shown that 20-30% of the sheets develop wind (twist).

That video is for a Hammer chassis. The photos Bill posted are for a Kappa 40 or 400 machine. The 700-series external cap for the dado cutter is different. The following illustrates the proper

Re: slab door warpage
Mike, Are you doing inset doors like Kerf does? That, in addition to them being set back from the face a bit might be key to hiding warp. I checked with States Industries this week on their take

Re: VFD issue with 3 Phase power supply
I can't guess what he meant.? Fuse is "bad" normally means "blown".? ?"is bad and will fail" really doesn't make much sense when talking about fuses. The most fundamental principle of electrical

I am not sure but your dado is different then the one I have. Mine has a center piece that has two holes the pins go through. I have the hammer version. With mine no added spacers are needed. I might

Re: Dado Help Needed Please
Bill, A different way to explain is that the arbor length is fixed. You basically need to add spacers on the arbor so that your total stack is wide enough for the flange to apply securing force. I

Bill, My KF700 has an interior spacer when the saw blade is installed, but I must take it out when using the dado set. No interior spacer is needed as the dado clears the saw without

Re: Dado Help Needed Please
There is a spacer inside too. Whatever size allows the dado blade to clear. I have a Kappa 400 and I need to remove another piece that is part of the blade opening so my setup I¡¯m sure is different.

Re: Dado Help Needed Please
No problem, like Michael said you may need one on the inside to push the stack out a little depending so check your clearance Regards, Mark https://www.instagram.com/kessler_woodworks/
