Imran, I am sure you can find pretty much everything in Shanghai, just need to know where to go. A weekend is not enough to explore Shanghai with 24 million population :) ËÕÐå is from Suzhou, a city

I know this is chinese but in Japan one can buy embroidered pieces with traditional designs in various sizes fairly commonly. I did not see them in China but I was only there for a week for work so

Re: Drawer slide recommendations
I guess it's all proportional to their given load rating. The heavier duty side mounted slides will not rack as much as the lighter duty ones, but with drawers over 36 inches in width, and without any

Re: Drawer slide recommendations
Bryce, I did not know side mounts were more susceptible to racking than bottom mounts. My beef with bottom mounts is deflection (sagging). My current kitchen drawers sag well before they are loaded to

Re: Drawer slide recommendations
Hi John, I just saw your last message. Sounds like the Salice F70 slides will work for weight since they are rated higher than the ones you're looking at using. Do yourself a huge favour and get the

Re: Drawer slide recommendations
I would forget the side mounted slides altogether with drawers that wide. My recommendation would be a Salice F70. They are fully syncronized, go up to 750mm in depth with a load rating of 78kg. The

Re: Inset drawer lighting
In-cabinet lighting can really elevate a piece. Some clients really like it. I have installed it in the past and it makes a big difference especially in display pieces. Here's a link to Hafele

Re: Cf741s-fine cut blade leaving ripples in Pear.
My Hammer C3-31 was a floor model and it had a vibration which grossly affected the cut quality, especially with veneer plywoods. A friend/fellow woodworker suggested a blade dampener, so I ordered

Re: Cf741s-fine cut blade leaving ripples in Pear.
I assume these blades used to cut fine and you have them both sharpened, so my first thought would be to try another blade and see what happens. Moving on, you are xcutting material clamped to the

Cf741s-fine cut blade leaving ripples in Pear.
Hi have a resharpened Leitz and Felder 96 tooth ATB blades on the saw and it¡¯s leaving some ripples on the end grain cuts. Arbor is clean, no dust particles between it and blades and blades sound

I appreciate the suggestions, fellows. I will give the KV slides a try. Maybe not the 500-pound slides at $140 per pair, but the model 8500 look interesting. Thanks to all of you for your suggestions.
