Re: CMT Orange 8" Locked Dado Pro Blade Set
Ok, I did not know you have the 30mm arbor European version. Talk to a saw blade manufacturer or shop providing blade sharpening service. James

Re: CMT Orange 8" Locked Dado Pro Blade Set
Infinity Tools has a somewhat similar design with their stacked dado set. You can get an entire 3/4¡± stacked dado set on your arbor. Unfortunately, no 30mm sized arbor and you would still have to

Re: CMT Orange 8" Locked Dado Pro Blade Set
Talk to a saw blade manufacturer. The cost to bore 30mm and pin holes may be more than the sale price ($120) of the CMT blade now. James

Re: Upgrading slider
I am adding Felder DRO to the rip fence as well to my order (and commission to the saw). my shop is 25¡¯x20¡¯ so I think to save some space and do what David did (and save something like $300-$400).

Re: CMT Orange 8" Locked Dado Pro Blade Set
I wonder what would be the cost to bore the pin holes (2 blades, 3 spacers and maybe the shims as well) It might make it more expensive than just buying a dado set from Ridge or Forest

Re: Felder K 700 S comsidering.
Hi all, I agree with Mr. Bird. I am waiting for a K 700S that I ordered in Nov of 23 and should arrive in about 8 weeks. I just saw a Kappa X-Roll with DROs, 126" slider, looks like loaded with

I have a slightly curved hardwood caul that works well between the Mac clamps for this type work.

Re: Sheet good recommendations
Great discussion.... at risk of a slight hi-jacking of the thread, how do you think the light marine plywood from BGB would work for shop shelving? I'm about to embark on some storage upgrades. wrote:

I tracked that Ironwood beam down and have the part number at work. It's $4,000. Dave Davies -- Dave & Marie Davies www.myfinishingtouch.com 318-219-7868

Re: Martin Air Clamp
I actually saw this on an Ironwood slider.? It's shown in both of these videos at the 5 minute mark (only 2 years ago).? They describe it as a "pneumatic pressure beam":

Re: Martin Air Clamp
I basically use a 3/4" MDF piece that is 3" wide by 8' long clamped on its edge with my air clamps. It serves the same purpose, is extremely cheap, and doesn't require removing my standard air clamps

I haven¡¯t purchased MDO since 2017, so the quality may have gone down. I do know that the stuff at the big box stores is not quality ply. When I did buy it, it was always through a yard that catered
