To answer PK¡¯s poll ¨C 3 & 4. Every tool has its place. Things I use a miter saw for: -? Cutting baseboard, window and door casings. Much easier to handle a 16¡¯ run of baseboard on a miter saw

My compound miter saw is in a large workstation built just for it. It is over 30 years old and is still quite precise. The detente for angles are right on. I have the dust collection issue resolved.
