OK, I just can¡¯t help myself when it comes to these carts. So here is my perspective. I have the Barth 500V in my shop and love it, but frankly it¡¯s not terribly robust as a scissors-lift cart.

On mine two casters swivel and lock the wheels from moving. Two others swivel or lock in alignment with the frame and table. This description looks accurate -

Ed, When I got the rangate I copied the top that Joe Calhoon made for his at the Alpine shop.? I used 5/4 Maple. No holes in the top.? I have another workbench with a parf top that I made. The

As an FYI, when I was thinking about the Rangate cart before I went with the Husky, Greg at Rangate (this was in August, 2022) told me they can make a top in any size I want and can even have the 22mm

Yep ¡ª they are pretty great although I¡¯d like another two locks. It¡¯s only an issue when on a very unlevel portion of my garage floor.
