Re: Digital Rip Fence mod on K500
Thanks Imran, There is no DRO option for the K500 on either the rip fence or the cross cut fence. This is summer time here, no wood work in 100 and 90% humidity :). Bill

Zero guide and parallel guides and air clamps
I just received my Sang Luu zero guide. He did an awesome job of machining this device. I have a Kappa 400 equipped with Mac¡¯s clamps, Brian¡¯s parallel guides and now Sang¡¯s zero guide. I did a

Re: Powerfeeder
Agree with Mark that the panto router is a different machine. Yes it doesn¡¯t have the pneumatic clamps or cast iron but biggest advantage in my opinion is that the work piece is stationary in the PA

Re: CF741SP Order Questions
Haven¡¯t read everything here but personally All the DRO you can do, power drive , flip stops, rip. Nothing beats built in over aftermarket. DRO totally speeds up the build process and repeatability.

Michael, I can only think of one thing to add to the advice you have already received. If you intend to make perfect angled cuts like for a frame consider adding the angle index with length

Re: CF741SP Order Questions
Thank you all for the valuable advice it¡¯s given me a lot to think about. On the power drive, sounds like I might just add it to both the saw and shaper as well to cover all the bases on

Re: Powerfeeder
Nice score on the Multi-router. I picked one up last fall with a nice cabinet stand, all of the templates, a router, a lot of bits (end mills) and pnuematic hold downs for $1600. I was pretty happy

Re: CF741SP Order Questions
I find power drive to not be much of an issue on the planer. Sure, you have to learn how to press the down button so that you get the amount you want, but I find thicknessing to be somewhat arbitrary

I find the Power Drive to be a royal pain in the butt to get to a precise number. When setting up for a dado, it¡¯s a joke! Felder offers Dado capability in the K700S , then offers Power drive, which

Seems reasonable if in good working condition. Assume, it is 4 speed. You probably will want the wheels recovered. Imran Malik https://www.facebook.com/groups/362481112015700/?ref=share

Mark, Is it the newer model with electronic variable speed control? I assume, for that price, that it is the standard stand. Imran Malik https://www.facebook.com/groups/362481112015700/?ref=share
