Re: Ceiling mounted overhead guard #diy
Hi Michael: Exactly what I had hoped ¡ª that you could swing it out of the way completely. The fact that you have 30cm of clearance is not to be sneezed at. I don¡¯t know if you have Mac¡¯s clamps

Re: Ceiling mounted overhead guard #diy
Thanks, Lucky! If fully moved up, there is about 30cm clearance below the hood. In principle, one could increase this by another 10-20cm by shortening the aluminium bars, without loosing sturdiness.

Brett, Reach out to Scott Slater - he¡¯s a dealer for Colonial Saw who was the US distributor for the Cantex. There may be one rattling around somewhere and Scott would know if anyone does.

I have this Festool edge routing accessory and OF1010, I have to say it looks fine, but does not work very well if you want to remove a bit more material, also it is awkward to hold a not so small

Several years ago I bought a Cantex at the AFWS woodworking show. I also bought the optional parallel guide, both in the wood case. I dreamed of making solid edged tables when I got home. But

Yes, I have MFK700 and some other ways I've been solving this problem over the years but I think I'm just ready to take the next step up to a lipping planer on the next round of solid edge banding

This is really spectacular Michael. I like seeing a professional alternative, rather than a ¡°make do with it¡± version. I can see that you have plenty of vertical adjustment when working with thick
