Re: OT. Testing images in posting #1
What are you using to read the post I sent with the image imbedded that you can¡¯t see? ?An email app (which one?) or a browser (which one?) and what type of machine (Mac, Windows, mobile device?)? David Best - via mobile phone?

Most email programs (on a PC at least) including Outlook, gmail and the one I use (Windows Live Mail) can Insert and Attach an image. These are 2 different operations. Attach is usually represented by a paper clip and Insert is usually represented by an image or some other icon. I am inserting a photo in this email:

In outlook, you can attach or insert picture to the email.
I guess if you compose email and insert the picture into the email, the picture probably will show up at the recipient email client.

Yahoo strips pictures when they are attachments. I have had luck inserting
photos when I use mail on my mac and cut and paste the photos into the email
itself, not as an attachment. I actually opened iPhoto, selected the photo
then share, then just drug that photo from the blank email into the email

I will see if this works, a couple of egg trays I made as Christmas

typical woodworking, but hey, they are made out of wood:

Hey Brian, That's woodworking. Although Dr Best may not approve.
We used to toss around the idea to change the settings to allow attachments
but we thought that the downside was greater than the benefits.
I know I've done what you have done for pictures by just inserting the
picture in the message body. Not sure if this works for everyone.
Take care,
