This one looks like the original.? I have FindBuyTool cutter head on my Jet 12" Combo unit.? Works great.? Quieter, easier to adjust and smaller chips with less tear out then straight knives i had before.?

Hi, as Imran stated you have a problem with the brake board.
?
Since it only occurs with the shaper it's probably not adjusted to run long enough for the increased inertia of the shaper spindle with tooling.
?
As it's a new machine under warranty call Felder USA.

Just grab a push fit joiner and cut the knick out and pop it in between.?

Michael, You can just cut it shorter and reinsert into the push to connect fitting.

Repair or replace air hose for Mac's clamps
Hi folks,
??? I was ripping a thin piece of plywood Sunday night with my air clamps positioned close to the edge.? I didn't have my blade guard far enough down and the hose for my clamp brushed the blade, nicking it.? I now have about a 1/16th of an inch hole in my hose.
??? Any tips on repairing it or a good source for replacing it? I have no doubt Mac can hook me up, but if it's something in general distribution I might be able to get it locally.? I'm not sure what this type of air-hose is called though.

It dosn't effect the longevity at all. The motors are designed to run either 50hz or 60hz and you mainly just get different rpm of the motor. A 3450rpm motor at 60hz will spin 2875rpm at 50hz. This is why Felder has specific pulley sizes and different belts because they are after the final speed of the cutter, whether it's a saw blade, shaper cutter or planer cutter head.

David, it is the KF 700 saw/shaper combo. Since the machine was delivered I have used the saw several times, basically whenever I had some time, but I only tested the shaper part of it once, by making sure it turns on, which it did. The problem is that after you turn it off, it does not turn on again unless you power cycle the machine.?

I’d recommend the whitehill rebate head. You can get multiple profiles for it. You can use it to cut tenons, mouldings etc.?

Hi John,
This one, try and get the one which allows you to switch the poles by turning the pins without removing and rewiring. Usually they are also a better build and easier to do the install.

I am not sure what “3phase socket cables to your isolators” means. Perhaps the plug end on the power cord, so I can plug it in to the three-phase electrical outlet? I have only a rudimentary grasp of electrical terms.
