Re: Felder customer service update on my K700S
I am surprised that you didn¡¯t get any results contacting Ruan, did you ever call him and talk to him? Emails can be ¡°avoided¡± too easily at times. As for commissioning, I¡¯ve helped several

Re: Felder customer service update on my K700S
I'd commission the Attorney General's office and maybe get an attorney involved. And find another vendor who can supply and fulfill your needs unlike the one you previously entrusted.

Felder customer service update on my K700S
Hello FOG members, I want to thank David Best & Brain Lamb for passing on the contact info to me for the President of Felder. In hopes to get my issues resolved a bit quicker, maybe. I wasn¡¯t

Re: How do you store your Lamb Tool Works Parallel Fence?
There are also lightening holes in the back of the mounting head, 5/8¡± diameter. I would do the same style you did, but mount the blocks vertical and stick two 1/2¡± dowels out of the top surface

Re: How do you store your Lamb Tool Works Parallel Fence?
Hi PK Storing the jigs so they were easily accessable yet positioned securely was a bit of a head scratcher. Eventually, I came up with the idea of using the recess in the back of the 'bracket' to

Re: sandpaper test
I have and I like it very much. I still have paper from Klingspor and Abranet which I've used with Xtract. I haven't had any swirl marks. I haven't noticed THAT much difference between it and other

Re: sandpaper test
I have a few boxes of it that I¡¯ve been going through for a couple months. It does remain sharper for longer than the abranet and autonet that I¡¯m used to if you¡¯re sanding wide flat surfaces.

Re: sandpaper test
So anyone tried Xtract yet? Hope it is as good as advertised as I ordered some last night. What is the deal with + on grits, like 80+, 220+? Does this mean one has to use their series to get rid of

Re: Which blade #sawsetup
My local guy said drilling the arbor out to 30mm was easy, but drilling the pin holes was not. It would have been way to expensive. I just gave my 10¡± blades to my son, as he could use them on his

Re: Which blade #sawsetup
FWIW, I sent my WWII¡¯s to Forrest for sharpening and had them drill out for the braking pins. Not expensive, worked great. I expect most sharpening services will do this if you have a collection of

Re: Garth Multipress vs Soukup Press
Hi Bon, The shop is full of work in progress! The curve window door unit is almost done. That has been one of the ore challenging units I have built! Put the Soukup press to work last couple days

Re: #shopconstruction Air treatment recommendations #shopconstruction
I concur with Alex's auto drain valve recommendation, as well as implementing "smart" pneumatic supply distribution. A 60 gal tank isn't a lot of reservoir capacity for a continuous air need like a

I have the Felder scoring blade. The width can be adjusted to fit whichever blade you are running. Based on recommendations from this group I ordered a couple of Tenryu blades. One is a rip blade and

Re: Which blade #sawsetup
If you didn¡¯t order a blade it doesn¡¯t come with one. I found that out when I received my Kappa 400 and the techs arrived for commissioning. You would think they¡¯d throw in a setup blade at

Which blade #sawsetup
I have a new K 500 S arriving in a week and I wanted to order blades in advance. Does the saw come with any blades? I purchased a machine already on the boat and the invoice didn't specify any blades

Re: #shopconstruction Air treatment recommendations #shopconstruction
Hi Jay, I think the first thing needed for pretty much any compressor installation is an automatic drain valve. As moisture (and oil) condenses and gathers on the interior walls of the compressor
