¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThese may be common but first time for me. Appears to be a fixed blade based upon shavings. Not sure if it can joint one face at 90 to the adjacent. Imran? |

Re: Felder Panel tilting device for Fat 300S
I have the Hafele branded version. My main complaint is the two fixed wheels make it very difficult to maneuver in a sometimes crowded shop.

Re: Felder Panel tilting device for Fat 300S
I actually own the panel handler cart.. it allows you to load 10 sheets and it not only tilts horizontal, you can also raise the platform up tp the saw's table height..works very well and a lot cheaper than the Felder?

Re: Felder Panel tilting device for Fat 300S
The FAT 300 is fantastic, small and nimble yet surprisingly sturdy. It falls in that category of ¡°should have done it sooner¡±. For a tilting table the larger S model would in my opinion be better suited due to its increased weight and width for stability.? Imagine an S cart, shop made top with your choice hole diameter and spacing, and repurposed recessed festool air clamps.? |

Re: Joining group
Mark,
Thanks!? I actually left the 24"x24" whole in the wall between the shop (garage) open for the make up air from the DC and because I did not want to lose any of the Air Conditioning.? Where I live it gets pretty hot from June through October.? I need to keep the cool in as much as possible.? So far the plan is working pretty well.? I insulated the walls and ceiling of the side building for the DC and air compressor.? That room is usually cooler than the workshop is. PK @pkwoodworking |
Re: Joining group
PK,
That turned out real nice, exactly what I want to do as I am on a hill side and can¡¯t really add to the whole building width wise - I would need to cantilever it off the side as the property drops 20-30ft about 3 ft from the shop. However being in VT I would potentially leave it open to the shop so it is somewhat climate controlled. Did you do some sort of ventilation? |

PK...many thanks for posting your video as its extremely helpful for those of us figuring out how to (i) get it off the delivery truck and; and (ii) get it off the pallet SAFELY and without damaging the equipment.? That AD941 is a thing of beauty!

Re: HP needed for heavy cutter?
One or our RR members contacted Train Mountain in Oregon to see how they milled plastic ties. Sort of a combination of ideas presented here. ?Two routers on an overhead trolly. Fun to see a solution from people who have rails and know how to weld. ?Dust collection would be a great addition.

Re: Joining group
I will tell you that using certain music will keep you out of some random countries...
But when you post a video, YouTube is clear about the risk and no monetization.? Now the Music vendor is NOT kept from monetization, just the poster of the video with music that is published to an owner. For the stuff that I care about, I recorded the intro and outro myself... PK @pkwoodworking? |
