Re: Maffel double miter fence
As for mounting things on the P-channel in general I have bought from Felder the 430-154 "Coupling system for 'P'", the one they sell with the EGL and DGL, lists for $146. So adaptation to the

Re: Maffel double miter fence
I own a Mafell ERIKA 70, which has been my primary on-site saw for the last five or six years now, replacing both my table sand and miter saw. Between the ERIKA and a KSS40, there's not much I can't

I love how you say it would be straightforward to make the p-channel mount...Maybe if you're David Best it would be straightforward. Give me a year. Dave Davies [email protected]> wrote:

Re: Maffel double miter fence
Looks to me (in the videos) that it would be straight forward to make a P-channel mount for that fence along these lines - drop on, lock, unlock, lift off: The underside of the fence shown below. Toss

Re: Maffel double miter fence
Interesting...kind of a poor man's DGL although not cheap but it's certainly less than the Felder offerings. Dave Davies [email protected]> wrote: -- Dave & Marie Davies www.myfinishingtouch.com

Re: Hardwood glue-up panel on top on cabinet - wood movement
Bill, i recommend understanding wood by bruce hoadley. Paul is stating the fact that wood moves across the grain and not along the grain. That is why i said earlier that assuming you will orient the

This looks like it could be interesting to adapt to the slider to substitute for the Felder short crosscut fence. https://www.timberwolftools.com/multi-purpose-guide-fence-mfa Joe

Re: Hardwood glue-up panel on top on cabinet - wood movement
I am still new to this, the last couple of times I plan/joint a board I forgot to look at the grain direction :( I was too much focus on my technics. The lumber I plan to use will the same I use for

Be careful how you orient the grain. If you restrict movement across the grain the top may buckle -- Paul Mc Cann

Re: Felder High Speed Router Spindle 424-111

Guys, I was all over this with Carl Knapp at Felder to help Mike evaluate the machine. The build date is April 2006, and you can tell the trunion configuration by looking at the scoring saw elevation
