Re: OT. Testing images in posting #2

I only see an image place holder icon.? NOT the image.? Using Windows, Chrome, adblock off, security settings to show all images in Chrome, reading via Yahoo! mail and group page using Chrome.??

Re: OT. Testing images in posting #1

No image shows for me.? Windows PC, Chrome (latest version), adblock plugin off, security settings in Chrome set to allow "all images" to show, and reading via Yahoo! mail and groups.? The digest version of the group postings does not show any image either.??

Re: OT. Testing images in posting #1

No image. Logged into mail.yahoo.com with Chrome on a PC. If the native Yahoo web mail doesn't show it, I doubt anything else will.

For what it's worth, I've had the best luck on my iPhone. I reply in the iOS mail app (not a reply link in the email), then hold my finger on the screen and select "Insert Photo or Video". Always seems to come through.

Most email programs (on a PC at least) including Outlook, gmail and the one I use (Windows Live Mail) can Insert and Attach an image. These are 2 different operations. Attach is usually represented by a paper clip and Insert is usually represented by an image or some other icon. I am inserting a photo in this email:

In outlook, you can attach or insert picture to the email.

I guess if you compose email and insert the picture into the email, the picture probably will show up at the recipient email client.

Yahoo strips pictures when they are attachments. I have had luck inserting
photos when I use mail on my mac and cut and paste the photos into the email
itself, not as an attachment. I actually opened iPhoto, selected the photo
then share, then just drug that photo from the blank email into the email
I'm writing here. I don't use phones for email, so can't help folks there.

I will see if this works, a couple of egg trays I made as Christmas
presents, cut them out on my CNC mill, lasered the Bunny on them, not
typical woodworking, but hey, they are made out of wood:

If you are seeing your pictures with your device, then it might be your

upload to the Photos section?
