I dont do much with metal but keep running into things where it would help - my son is spending more time with metal now, what is the name of the book - sounds like a perfect gift

For those interested in metalworking, David has written a book on tooling that is outstanding.? I'm new to metalworking and was desperate for information to decipher the insert, tooling, and million other codes needed to get started.? Best's book is the best.? Dave

Right. There are four. I've attached a couple of photos from my original delivery; hopefully they'll help you locate your bolts.

That's an interesting question. I ordered my machine with the cable-separation option, so I just remove the panel on the outfeed side of the saw and reach through the opening to disconnect them. If you don't have that option, you'll need to take a look inside the saw cabinet to see how they're connected (or if they're long enough that you can simply pull the two machines apart).

I called in and they measured the bore and told me it is 1¡±. I cannot guarantee that. It is a great price if anyone can use it. No 1/32¡± chipper though so 1/16¡± increments.

Re: Hammer C31 Dust Collection piping setup #hammer

I sourced all standard fittings from Air Handling ? There are others but these guys had an organized website, decent prices and were responsive to emails and phone calls.? I sourced spiral pipe and custom fittings from a local hvac shop.? Nordfab, thru marketing, has made their name synonymous with clamp pipe systems and so gets a premium price for standard materials.? It's nice looking stuff but there are other sources.?

Re: Shaper with CopeCrafter and outboard fence and pressure jaws to make panels

Having just received an F900z, I'm very intrigued by this thread. In general, is a copecrafter type sled more desirable than using the sliding table, or a substitute for those with machines without a slider, or just depends on your personal preferences? Thanks to this thread, I've found my way to the Mac clamps for consideration. What of the Big Squeeze? As? a newbie here, I'm slowly catching on - are these air clamps developed by a member/for members???Just getting started, so this would be a key in helping me develop my procedures in coping for cab doors. Welcome clarification from anyone willing to fill me in.?

Jeff

Re: Hoffman Key Router $250 - 20mins left

I have this machine. It is fabulous. I bought it for a specific job which was supposed to be a regular batch production run situation. That didn't come to fruition and it largely sits collecting dust. If anybody is interested I could probably be talked into selling it.
