Re: Shop Tour
Hi Kerry, Lots of eye candy on the tour, and (for me, the best part) ideas on how to organize,?esp. all the shaper?cutters. It looks a lot larger than the 2,000 sq ft that your website says it is - maybe you expanded? GREAT equipment, I agree that you pay once for the best and it saves you time and money down the road - it's not about how much you pay for some random thing, it's about what you get for what you pay. There were multiple calibration dials - is there a specific use for each, or was it (as is the case for me) just one more, I have to try this one...? North Bennet Street - ever run into Mark Singer? (way back...) Lastly, the collection of goods on the website attests to a love of the craft, congratulations. ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý¡°I can already tell my shop is too small. ?It can't be that I have too many tools, it just can't be.¡± reminds me of my trip to builtmore. i noted that the bed was tiny and upon inquiring if vanderbilts were diminutive i was informed about the size of the room. i remember it was close to our 1st house which was bit over 1000 sqft. oh! to be clear you have the exact opposite problem ?and i can relate to it ? imran On Oct 30, 2020, at 1:29 PM, shupe5402@... wrote:

OK, just to close the loop on this...
The electric company tested my line, and the power was 246, so no issues there. ?Turns out my electrician needed a new voltmeter. However, the machine still would not run, so today a very excellent Felder tech came out from the DFW office and found a neutral wire that was not connected properly by the factory. ?He fixed it. So... ?the machine now runs, the electricity is good, and my next step is to figure out what the design of my dust collection system should be so I can get it all hooked up. I have an Oneida collector, so they will help with the design once I get my machines placed in their permanent homes. I can already tell my shop is too small. ?It can't be that I have too many tools, it just can't be. |

I looked at the harvey guard some years ago because I though I could fit it on my old Robinson.? I'm not sure it will handle a 16" blade or a 12" with scoring.? If no scoring, it should work.? Dave

I received a message from Harvey doing an intro offer on their saw guard.? At first look, it appears to be a reasonable copy of the others where have seen here, and takes 12" blades and 52" cutting width.? As I recall my 2004 KF 700s has a 51" cutting
width.? At $949.00 + SST may be competitive.? I am getting too old to be an early adapter, but I'd like a better blade guard and dust collector.
I'd appreciate feedback. |

Re: Shop Tour
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýi have the festool guide with holes but no festool router. i put blue tape on guide and router base a thin line on both for hole location reference. diligently referenced guide for every row and drilled. everything went fine but i forgot about the replaceable 1/8¡± thick hardboard top when checking clamp compatibility (hole size and top thickness). glad my margin helped and rounding over the holes on the hardboard allows me to place clamps in. paulk design is two 2x8 tables that can be joined. it did not want to commit that much space. i made a 4x4 with cabinet below and 2 side wings (2x4 each) to get to 4x8. i have used the wings couple of times but with k975 addition, i do not think they will get used again. imran On Oct 30, 2020, at 11:05 AM, James Zhu <james.zhu2@...> wrote:
