Re: FB510 Vibration

Mark,

There is not too much room to adjust the ceramic?guide after the knob is overtightened. Yes, the ceramic guide is parallel to the blade.

Slightly tightening the knob does not affect the quality of the cut.

Jay,

I am not sure what you mean about the upper guide clamp.

What I found is over-tightening the knob in the picture below pushes the steel guide with the attached ceramic guide to the left, which pushes the blade to the left. So I make sure not to overtighten the knob.?

I spun the top wheel 13 times. 10 times it came to rest at 5-6-7 o¡¯clock. 3 times it stopped at 12. How much weight and what type of weight would I use??

Ran the motor alone, minimal vibration, not ?really smooth.?

As David said,

Make sure that when you push the cart inside the RL and lift the handle the bag is not pinch by the air vacuum tube at the back.

Wow, Something is absolutely wrong. If Felder technician cannot fix such excessive vibration, Felder should give you a full refund.

Btw, I have Felder FB510, I do not have the vibration issue.

Re: FB510 Vibration

Hello Bill,

I purchased and received a FB510 last year and found that the upper guide would shake excessively. ? I went through all the isolation tests and had to have a Felder technician come out to see if he could fix the problem.

He changed out a wheel, pulleys, etc. with no resolve. ? The only thing that seemed to minimize the vibration was to make sure that the upper guide clamp was not screwed on too tight. ?

If your interested, I can see if I have videos showing the vibration.

Very disappointed with the FB510.
