Re: Tooling sleeves
Joe, thanks for the info on the through bolt sleeve. I hadn't seen those ans was wondering what they centered on with the bolts in the way. I never considered the heads were bored for the bolts. I

Re: Veneering hollow core doors
Thanks Jason I¡¯ll definitely give that a try. I called the owner of the press company and he was surprised the first run of doors was successful, said they don¡¯t recommend doing any hollow core

Re: Tooling sleeves
Or have a simple top hat sleeve made that is just below the top cutter so the spindle nut will hold everything tight. Probably have spacers between the cutters?

Re: Tooling sleeves
Jared, my Zuani sleeves are 65 mm OD. They are not threaded though like your picture. They are a through bolt. My old Garniga sleeves are 60mm and threaded with double nuts.

Tooling sleeves
I'm wondering if anyone here has a source for 65mm od tooling sleeves? Omas has up to 60mm but I don't see anything at 65mm. I'd prefer to just buy one rather than machine one.

Re: SCM Spindle Moulder T130 query
After looking at your spindle again, it looks like you¡¯re between a rock and a hard spot. If you need to turn the spindle down to 30 mm the then you have to remove the whole spindle assembly,
