Re: Lamello Cantex for sale $2000
JB, If you do a lot of wide solid wood edge banding, Lamello Cantex is the #1 solution. I use OF1400 with Freud 1-1/4" diameter 1/2" shank dish carving router bit on the ultimate router base to trim

Re: Lamello Cantex for sale $2000
I have both the Festool MFK setup and the OF1010 w/ an edging plate. I use them quite a bit. I find the MFK works really well for thin edge banding, but not much else. The OF1010 w/ the edging plate

Hi Wade, I usually glue on 1/4" strips and then fit from there. Around 1/8 is ideal for not telegraphing. Jason Holtz J. Holtz Furniture 3307 Snelling Ave. South Minneapolis, MN 55406 612.432.2765

Re: 40 mm rebate spindle cutter flush mount - Australia
Hi Mac, could you recommend a good rebate cutter with steel body/ reversible knife/ side curf cutters etc? Would love a link to what you recommend. Sounds like a dedicated rebate cutter maybe better

Re: 40 mm rebate spindle cutter flush mount - Australia
Mac, the cutterblocks we are referring to have skewed carbide inserts with spurs for rabbiting with clean inside corners.? They ALSO can be used to take HSS knives....hence the name "combi". B

Re: Lamello Cantex for sale $2000
I have the OF1010 with the edging plate. I have to say it is awkward to use because of the weight of the router. I think MFK700 is a better choice to trim edge banding. You can modify the 0 degree

You can also just buy a 3 phase convertor, it will be significantly cheaper.

These are not a good rebate cutter buy a steel body 125 dia 2 knife reversible with side curf cutters or get side cutters screwed so good for tenon work . These are your basic cutter every one should
