Tim, not sure but I think the mortising units for Hammer and Felder are similar in how they attach and operate. If that is the case, there are no instructions (at least for Hammer), just a one sheet

There is a low voltage power supply that runs the DC motors that take care of rise and fall (and tilt if you have it). Pretty sure there are some fuses involved in the power supply, I would check
