Re: Felder/Hammer setup in a small space
Hi Imran, They are definitely way better performing machines as well, and the shaper is an added bonus to my setup. I think the clamps look great. The gentleman I bought the saw from had the manual

Re: Felder/Hammer setup in a small space
Hi Tyler, Welcome to the group. Glad you like them clamps. I had them made in Kokomo, IN. The white base tells me that it is one of the few early ones that did not get my 2 hr manual RO sanding, so

Re: Moving new K700S
Hey Rob, Yep, sent Felder this video. There¡¯s a flat spot in it. I¡¯m going to search for a same size wheel, but something with a nylon material.

Wade, My fence does not have that bounce. I get a knock when going over the transition from stamped sheet metal to cast iron, and I drag on the table, but not the bang-bang-bang in your video. It

Re: saw setup pics
That is a Kysor Johnson model J that I did a full teardown, repaint, rebuild on. Took me a few months of chipping away at it, but it came out great. It is a very nice saw. Bought it for $400.

Re: Moving new K700S
UHMW, you can get it online from Plastic Supply houses or places like McMaster or MSC. That is a good solution, and watching your video, the wheel is obviously out of round and when it hits the low

Re: Moving new K700S
Just a picture of what the roller looked like and my fix to smooth out the travel of the fence from the cast to the steel extension table. Felder did send me a new wheel but still was not that great.

Re: Moving new K700S
Wade my Hammer K3 made this noise and it is the roller wheel under the cast housing that holds the fence. Flip it over and check that roller
