Re: Felder BF 6 jointer table setup
Okey, 0.001" (0.025 m.m.)? or twice that? sounds more realistic to achieve than 0.005 m.m. In my textbook they recommend using equipment to grind the knives while mounted to get it down to 0.005

Re: FB610 bandsaw blade position on the wheels: in the middle or near the edge?
Thanks John, I actually spent a few hours reading many posts about the bandsaws (searched for variations of? "FB" and "610"), but do not remember specific discussion around the proper position on the

Re: FB610 bandsaw blade position on the wheels: in the middle or near the edge?
Thanks David, it's good to know that someone is using Alex's method for the FB-610 with good results.? Have you seen any issues with the blade chewing up the rubber - having a slight crown should

Re: FB610 bandsaw blade position on the wheels: in the middle or near the edge?
You must have different wheels then what I've seen on a lot of Felder bandsaws. All were completely flat. Properly setup with proper tracking and blade tension results in no drift unless the blade is

Re: FB610 bandsaw blade position on the wheels: in the middle or near the edge?
I follow Snodgrass's method on my 610. I tried the front of the wheel thing and it wouldn't cut straight. Using Alex's method it cuts straight. I find it easier to adjust the tracking than adjust for

Re: Shims for Felder dado set
Think those are the correct ones but you could always give Felder a quick call and confirm that they are the correct ones.

Re: Integrated adjustable rollers for AD 951
The only time I thought bed rollers were worth the effort was when they were powered. Few are now so I'd save the 750 unless you run really rough stock. Dave ________________________________ Sent:

Definitely not as easy to reconfigure the spiral compared to clamp together especially if you need to change something in the middle of a run, not sure if it¡¯s worth 4-5 times the cost of spiral

Re: FB610 bandsaw blade position on the wheels: in the middle or near the edge?

I really like the Nordfab ducts.? I reconfigure it for new machines and took less than an hour.? I don't think you can do it as easily with spiral ducts when I was researching the two options.?
