Put the wrench in a vise and bend a dog leg in it, I did that to mine years ago, pictures should be on the FOG somewhere. It makes it a lot easier to deal with. Brian Lamb blamb11@...

Whoops, fat fingers hit the enter key before I finished! To continue¡ It is my understanding, but I have yet to confirm with actual use, that the musclechuck will allow the use of a hard spacer as

Re: FD250
Glen, If I may disagree with you regarding the use of a dowel as a spacer in the chuck. A typical chuck, when tightening, causes the bit to ¡°snug down¡± in the collet in order to allow the collet

Re: FD250
Bill, Sorry, I was referring to the handheld router. I do not know if MuscleChuck has a model for the Felder router spindle. You can email the guy who makes MuscleChuck. Btw, David Best has his own

Re: FD250
John, To solve the issue of the router bit being set in the same spot in the router spindle, I borrowed from Marc Sommerfeld¡¯s setup for router table. He includes a small rubber grommet with his

James, Which model of the Musclechuck fits the Felder router spindle? I would love to melt the collet wrench too! Thanks, Bill Sent: Monday, January 23, 2017 8:33 AM To: phil_moger@...

Re: FD250
If you remove the Aigner fence on the Profil x motion and make a wooden fence it will handle a small router bit. I recently did this to use a custom bit to cut a bead on replacement siding for a 17th

Re: lighting question
Mark, The DOE has a program, Lighting Facts, that has most manufacturers putting a Lighting Facts label on the box and the marketing, just like they do with water heaters, lists the CRI, color temps,

Re: FD250
Hi Mac, I am not fond of routers. I think because when I first started I ran a several hundred feet of trim made with 4 passes on each piece with a router. I avoid them as much as possible. I did

When i first got my shaper, about 1.5 years ago, maybe 2 i alos considered getting rid of my router table. I was cash strapped at the time and could get nearly what i payed for my Festool rig. I

David, I was assuming the TSS holders were as much as a Royal holder. Freeborn shaper cutters are pretty inexpensive. I bought a 3/8¡± cove cutter from California Carbide for around $60. I agree with

Re: FD250
Not sure I agree Joe. The individual tool holders on the TSS system are only $20. At that kind of price point, the idea might fly. I¡¯m not suggesting I¡¯m a devotee of router bits as an alternative

Re: FD250
David, It seems to me that it would be cheaper to buy shaper cutters than holders for a bunch of router bits. Shaper cutters are easy to index and program with the profile x-motion. Joe in New Orleans

Hi Joe. Another here with an Incra fence/router table set up. The shaper is great, but I have to say I like to have the router table for a lot of the lighter work I do. +1 on the accuracy of the Incra
