Hi Glen: Welcome to the group! Looking forward to helping you. Regarding your question about ¡°bad experiences¡±, I think perhaps that is not the right question. Most of us are long-term, repeat

Re: See the new dust collector?
I read another post http://www.bridgecitytools.com/blog/2016/06/15/amazing-dust-collector-ever-heard/#more-9016 . The machine sold in states comes with 5 micron filter, 1 micron is an option you can

Re: See the new dust collector?
I think it is a typo. If it was 5 micron, I do not think the owner of bridge city would buy it because he is allergic to wood dust as mentioned in the following review of his new dust collector.

I've always assumed these pieces were just a (European?) safety rule to stop an idiot putting their hand through and contacting the tool.? I once mentioned this at a tool show and the unofficial

Re: See the new dust collector?
I think the Harvey guy is Ben Chan and they sell a bunch of stuff direct through their website. I was interested in the overarm saw guard as I liked the design but it wouldn't cover the 16-18" blades

Here's the original specs from the manufacturer. I heard about these units early in the summer and did some looking, 100% Chinese. http://www.harveymachinery.com/products_detail/productId=84.html New

Exactly, maybe too small for a whole shop of Felder machines, but interesting nonetheless. Brian Lamb blamb11@... www.lambtoolworks.com

Re: See the new dust collector?
As the filter appears to be 5 micron, seems more like a large dust distributor than a collector :-) Hope that's a misprint

Re: See the new dust collector?
The motor is 1500W, so about 2HP, maybe good for a one man shop. The low noise level 61dbA is amazing. James [felder-woodworking] <felder-woodworking@...> wrote:

agazzani BS ( & Other) BS owners
I got these two dust evacuation chutes. In ten there is molded in plastic an X pattern presumably to keep chunks from being sucked up and hitting a cheap plastic impeller. Problems is when Sawing wet

See the new dust collector?
I guess Bridge City is importing a new dust collector¡. not sure it¡¯s up to the rigors of a Felder shop, but the design is such a departure from existing stuff that I found it pretty interesting.

Re: Current Inrush on a CF531P
No worries. I really appreciate you giving it a whirl. Not all meters have an inrush feature. I had to buy a specific meter to get in rush measurements. Fluke, for example, sells 12 different clamp

Michael, I've tried getting you a start up reading.......unfortunately my clamp meter blanks out for approximately 1 second as the kf700 is started, I guess my meter is not sensitive enough for this

Re: AD 941 vs AD 741
Perhaps a supplemental gas type generator might be advantageous and only run when needed. This is something only the Op can answer, even off the grid could benefit from this setup.? JohnJMK Services
