I went out and looked at my KF, I assume you are talking about the model that locks onto the round bar? I had too much stuff in the way to pull the whole head off the bar, but it appears that the plastic lever cams over and pulls the sheet metal yoke tight against the bar. I could see real well, but there appears to be several screws in the area of where the lever hits, so maybe they are some sort of adjustment. My parts list doesn’t show this particular set of parts as this was a retrofit situation on the 2001 machines that came with an aluminum rip fence head that was completely different.
