Oh, yeah that's quite the job. There is a gentleman on YouTube that changed his out for a helical head. Bradshaw joinery I think his channel name is. I would start there.
I did the same thing on my CF 531, but never documented it. I wouldn't say it was hard to do, you just need to keep track of everything. For that I took lots of photos, so I knew what each part was supposed to look like when it went back together.?
