Re: Impeller Suppliers?

Tim,?

I’ve used New York Blower for similar impellers in the past too.?

This one is interesting as it appears to have been somewhat adjustable which is not something I’m used to in dust collectors, but I’ve also never seen a 15 hp one.?

My first thought was custom?fab shop templating and making replica would be only way to be a perfect replacement. But then you get into balancing dynamics and lots of other sophistications a general fab shop?might not be capable of... At that cost, a whole replacement cyclone might be more feasible....

Perhaps these are decent starting points for compatible parts that might be sitting on a warehouse shelf?

Good afternoon !

A friend who owns a small commercial cabinet shop asked if I had any idea where he could source a replacement impeller for his dust collection system. I told him about this group and that I would reach out for help.
Two days ago, the system stopped working and threw the breaker . When they opened up the ?access to the cyclone they discovered that the aluminum impeller had disintegrated.? The impeller is 17.5 inches in diameter and 7.5 inches in height. 1 3/8 shaft connected to a 15 hp motor. Any ideas / contacts appreciated. The unit is an AFS Cyclone but they are out of business.

Thanks in advance.?
