Hello everyone. I made a new coffee table. I made a work with the marquetry technique consisting of 1634 pieces of ebony and aphromosia wood on the table. I was inspired by an Ancient Greek Kylix for this.
The original of the work is exhibited in the National Museum of Scotland and dates back to 457 BC. I like to do such works because I love archaeology and art history. I depicted a wild ram on its feet. It was hand carved from white oak. I patinated it with
bronze colors to give it the appearance of a historical artifact. Its 4 horns carry the table's table. I hope you like it. Greetings from Türkiye to everyone.
