I ordered 0.26” balls from panel buddies. I called them to confirm if they will be okay compressed to 1/8” (1/4” wide and 1/2” deep groove; 1/4 of the panel to be in the groove) and they said

I thought that these made clamping a bit harder than it needs to be.

Is my use case considered normal?

Panel buddies also offer rectangular pads. Has anyone used these?
