Not to be that guy, but having owned both the Kundig UNIQ and the Hammer HS950 they are light years apart.

The Kundig new these days is $25k plus options.? So if the machine is in good working order it is a steal.

The Hammer HS950 is a great unit and a bargain but it is not a Kundig Uniq.? The Kundig weighs in at 1300 pounds, I believe, and the fit/finish and quality are top notch - as in Martin like.? The belt will oscillate almost 4" and the accessories are well thought out.? Plus the dust collection for me is really good compared to all other machines I have seen/used.? The Rehnen SK-1, SK-2, SK-3 have really great dust collection also, but no bed tilt is possible on those machines.

Is the Kundig Uniq worth $25k plus accessories and shipping/tax for a hobbiest shop?? Probably not, but used at a great price, it will give you many years of pleasurable use.? The same argument can be made about any of the machines we own.? Is a kappa 450 x-motion worth 3x the price of a K700?? I think so, but many will not.
?
Also, the resale on a Kundig is usually pretty strong.
