Hello,
I have the Felder branded version. My experience so far has been the same as yours ¡ª I love how quiet it is, but it leaves saw marks on almost every cut. It was the first blade I used when I got my KF700, so I was initially worried that something is wrong with the saw itself. However, other blades don¡¯t exhibit anywhere near this level of marking. I¡¯ve attached some pictures with sample cuts using the diamond blade. I hope I am sending them correctly and that they¡¯ll show up. As for improving the cut quality, there is some advice in the comments section on this Youtube video:? Cuts seem to be better if the blade is raised only very little above the top of the material, and feed rate is slow. This seems to have an effect on rip cuts especially. This video was one of the factors that convinced me to try this blade, but my experience hasn¡¯t been as good as the video author¡¯s. Reviewing it again, there are some aspects to the video which I find suspicious and lead me to think it might be a paid video. Regarding AKE version vs Felder version ¡ª I noticed that the AKE branded ones are available in different sizes and kerf widths. The felder one is 300x2.4/1.8 , but Sautershop also has 303x2/1.8, 303x2.4/1.8 and 350x2.6/2.0. Which one did you get? I¡¯ve switched to the Felder silent power silver universal with 48 teeth (Art.-Nr. 03.02.30048) and am very happy with the performance. It¡¯s also nice that the kerf width is the same as my other saw blades and I don¡¯t have to recalibrate the fences or switch the riving knife. Best, Mi?elis Vindavs
